Hospital Policies

If you have any concerns or questions regarding our policies, please feel free to reach out to us.

Fees

At your request, we can provide you with an estimate of costs for routine procedures, however, for medical conditions that can vary in severity, an accurate estimate can only be given after your pet has been thoroughly examined.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

New Clients

We are always welcoming new patients to our animal clinic. We request a $100 deposit at the time of scheduling your very first appointment with us.

This deposit serves as a credit towards your first appointment with us. In the event of a no-show, the deposit will be forfeited.

No Shows

Talbot Animal Clinic is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. Due to the high demand for appointments, when a client cancels without giving advance notice, they prevent another patient from being seen. For this reason, Talbot Animal Clinic has a No-Show Policy for all surgical and medical appointments scheduled with our veterinarians.

A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without cancelling it, or a failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment. This includes arriving more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment. To ensure all of our patients and clients get the best care possible, please let us know if you cannot make the appointment.

We understand that life can sometimes present unexpected challenges, and we strive to be flexible and accommodating. However, in the event of a missed appointment without prior notice, we have implemented a no-show policy to ensure fairness and availability for all our clients.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are here to work with you. However, repeated missed appointments will result in charges to cover our No-Show Fee, and prepayment will be required for future appointments.
